In motorsports, a pit stop is where a racing vehicle
stops during a race for refueling, new tires, repairs, mechanical
adjustments, a driver change, or any combination of the above. The HR Pit Spot
blog is intended to be that unique stop but not for drivers, rather than for
all those HR professionals who wish to refuel their HR tool kit with new and
creative ideas being applied in today’s market.
The HR Pit Spot blog will focus on human resources and
will offer great ideas on how to understand, benefit and profit from social
media and the emerging digital services at our reach. It is no secret that new
media is turning into a “big thing” in the Human Resources world. Each day
there is more information online about the different tools available for HR
professionals that can make our work even more effective and aligned to the
company goals.
Moreover, expert blogs keep popping up to illuminate
us through this digital new era of overwhelming information. Their focus is to
keep us up to date with the latest news and trends in the HR world. Among my favorite bloggers you’ll find:
I strongly recommend you to check them out, I’m sure
you’ll end up subscribed to at least one of them, and better yet I hope you end
up subscribed to the HR Pit Spot too.
So,
welcome! Let the conversation begin. Hope you enjoy reading this blog as much
as I enjoy writing it. And remember, this is actually a conversation. Your
ideas, opinions and feedback are very welcomed and important to me.
Mari excelente iniciativa. Besos!
